Inspired to the greatness of Mr. Ettore Bugatti, this is a important wine with typical aromas of ripe fruit, cherry and plum. Intense ruby red colour with garnet nuances and spicy aromas. Dry taste, generous and silky body.
The grapes are harvested in Autumn, for granting a long dry sun exposition.
A medium-long period in steel tanks.
Then a long period maturation in three different wooden barrels: 50 hl. wooden barrels, 2,25 hl. precious Tonellerie Vicard wooden barriques (medium toast).
Final aging in the Guinness World Records “Largest Wooden Barrel in the World” made of mixed woods coming from several countries of the world.
Long period of refinement in glass bottles.
Grapes are raisin-dried for at least 4 months after harvesting, losing at least 40% of their weight. Fermentation temperature between 18 and 22° C. Maceration time: 25 days.
A perfect companion for roasts, red meat, game, ripe cold cuts and ripe cheeses. Excellent partner to grilled meats.
Great as meditation wine or as final of dinner.
To be uncorked at least two hours before serving.
